In the COMMUNITY

The Palms values the role we play in the local community. We support local community groups and participate in a range of programs and initiatives. We also invite you to join in the fun of our community. So, keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening around town – and what we’ve been working on – by reading our latest articles on community events and news here.

The Palms participates in a wide range of local programs and initiative.  We support  Community Policing in the Shirley area,  The Palms management and security work closely with the community policing office which is based at The Palms.  The Palms also provides financial assistance to The Palm Cottage, a non profit organization that supports the Shirley community.
We also actively encourage our staff and retailers to be involved in community initiatives wherever possible, and support national charities and initiatives such as Daffodil Day, St John’s Ambulance to name but a few.
