Palm Cottage

Palm Cottage began 30 years ago as the Shirley Methodist Open House.  With continuing support from The Palms this non profit organisation happily supports the local community with a dedicated team of 14 volunteers and is located opposite The Palms Shopping Centre on New Brighton Road.
Palm Cottage provides pre loved clothing and household items including delicious homemade preserves.  Money raised through Palm Cottage generously provides assistance to the local community and  many worthy charities from NZ Foundation for the Blind through to the Canterbury Charity Hospital.
